An Evening with Richard Holway
9th July 2003
Agenda

The Evening starts at 5.30pm with, at 6.00pm sharp, the premiere presentation of Richard Holway's "State of the IT Nation" 2003

This will be the 16th such annual presentation. Previous presentations have set the agenda for the next period. They are usually controversial and, unfortunately of late, have usually been correct. Holway has predicted difficult times ahead since 1999.

This year the 2003 presentation concentrates on the CHANGES that the industry and its companies need to make to both succeed - and survive - in the environment which lies ahead.

Themes
Previous themes, with associated music, have been:
2000 - the-business NOT e-business
"There may be troubles ahead"

2001 - The Boring will Inherit the Earth
"Stormy weather"
("Life is bare, Gloom and misery everywhere")
2002 - Bubble & Squeak
"Yesterday"
(Suddenly, I'm not 10% the man I used to be")

Holway's Nov 03 Prince's Trust presentation used "IT's all over now?" by the Rolling Stones to introduce IT as a mature industry theme.
This year's title is CHANGES - so no prizes for guessing the 2003 theme music
